I wonder how it works specifically.

I'd like to try just changing the top left pixel (or just the top row of pixels) and see if it returned a positive result.

I bet it just eliminates potentials from file size, dimentions then goes through the pixels one by one with the remainders.

I bet it just runs an MD5 hash on the image.

It says on the site "TinEye looks for the specific image you uploaded, not the content of the image. TinEye cannot identify people or objects in an image." which would make sence if it just hashes the image.

Yeah that's probably more efficient actually.

A billion MD5s they've got documented then, that's pretty insane.

I might make a new thread for miscellaneous interesting finds.

Here's one about how travelling at warp speed would simply kill you, if it didn't create a black hole and destroy the Earth first: http://www.gearlog.com/2010/03/where...st_says_wa.php

Rather unsurprising when you look at the corporate cultures of businesses like Apple and Google. They don't hire people who are merely qualified and looking for employment, they hire people who share their philosophy.

If your employees care about what your company is doing and feel they can contribute to that purpose, then their motivation is independent of their financial compensation.
