Description During the Vietnam War, Company H, 75th Infantry was reactivated and served as a LRRP unit during the war, becoming the longest serving in LRP/Ranger history and the most decorated. It was deactivated for a short time in 1972. Following the success of the 1st Battalion, 75th Infantry Regiment (Ranger) which was raised in 1974, the 2nd Battalion, 75th Infantry was activated later that year, inheriting its colors and lineage from Company H, 75th Infantry. March 2024 marked 50 years since the U.S. Army Rangers were reactivated in 1974, with the 2nd Ranger Battalion being the first to be established after the Vietnam War. This unique challenge coin celebrates this half-century of achievement showing the emblems of the Army Rangers in detailed and colorful 3D UV print with elements that can be both felt and scene.
