Care/Details Environment – Alocasia Lauterbachiana thrives in bright, indirect light, making it ideal for rooms with plenty of natural light but away from direct sunlight. Watering – Water once a week, using 50-100 ml for 6 cm pots. Make sure the plant absorbs the water within a few hours, and pour out any excess. As the soil dries, wait a day or two before watering again. In winter, with slower growth, extend the watering interval to about 14 days. Leaves care – It’s normal for outer leaves to turn yellow eventually. Gently remove them once the stem starts to loosen. If you see leaves dripping, it could be due to overwatering or higher temperatures. Keep your plant looking its best by regularly misting or wiping the leaves to remove dust and maintain their vibrant colour. Fertilizer – Feed your Alocasia once a month in spring and summer with a liquid fertilizer. In winter, cut back on feeding since the plant’s growth slows. For a happy plant, keep it near a humidifier or in a humid spot.
