Description This variegated Alocasia Elephant Ear enjoys bright, indirect sunlight and humidity since they are a tropical plant. Placing the plant in direct sunlight may burn the leaves. It loves a well-draining soil with plenty of nutrients, something like a mix of orchid bark, peat moss, perlite, and compost will do the trick. It is ready to be watered when the top half of the soil has dried, be careful not to overwater. The plant will show if it’s been overwatered when the leaves drip water. The leaves will last a few months before others take their place. Repot as the plant outgrows its pot.
