Description Amorphophallus konjac is a bulb that develops an interesting spotted or mottled stalk or trunk with one giant divided leaf at the top. The trunks can eventually reach 5 feet tall. It goes dormant every winter. Once mature, this aroid produces a stunning vase-like 5 foot purple inflorescence in the spring. Grow this plant in a shady location. Requires pretty average care, regular water and fertilization. Easy to grow. Protect from freezing temperatures. Bulbs can be dug up and kept indoors until the spring. Recommended for those who like weird plants! The pictures of the flowers were taken of a mature blooming plant, not the young plant for sale.
